Currently Online Registration facility is available for "Renewals" only for grades C3 and above. Until the Full range online platform is established CIDA has decided to receive Applications through emails for Renewals and Upgrading of registrations up to C1. Other categories such as EM, GP and SP will also be accepted. However "NEW" registrations will only be received through physical submissions while CIDA District Coordinating Officers have also been authorized to carry out this task.
Thus, critical documents such as Financial Facility, Project Summary and Largest Project will be required as Scanned copies. Minimum number of scanned copies of documents (maximum 05 to 06 copies) will be required in order to avoid bandwidth failures in online operations.
Applications in soft formats are available for downloading, and duly filled applications can be sent in PDF formats to avoid data losses.
All scanned copies shall have been authenticated by a Notary Public or an Attorney at Law.
After completing the evaluation process contractor will get an invoice by email for the payment. Contractors will be able to pay through bank deposit / online transfer or Online Visa/Master card payment gate in the CIDA website.
Submission of forged documentation and false information will be dealt as per the provisions under section 36 and subsequent criterion depicted under the section 35 of CID Act.

Contractors whose registration validity expired on or after 01.01.2015 and who do not have required projects ( Largest Project / 5 year work done) to continue their registrations will be given an opportunity to work in the industry under the same grade for a period of 03 years. All other requirements except the Work done and part of Financial Requirement shall be fulfilled and due payments including arrears will be imposed. In case of financial requirement only 50% of relevant requirement will be sufficient to continue the registration. Further fresh staff recruitments will be allowed deviating from submission of proof records for EPF etc., and approvals will be given on case by case basis.
However the incumbent Contractor shall secure the projects needed to retain in the grade during this period of 03 years to remain. Thereafter, all evaluations for continuation of the registration will be granted as per the available qualifications.
This scheme will be effective until 31st March 2021.
